This monochrome version of the LV Trainer sneaker combines smooth and grained calf leather. Inspired by vintage basketball sneakers, this cult model was designed by Artistic Director Virgil Abloh, whose handwritten Louis Vuitton signature is embossed on the side. This first eco-designed version of the lv trainer sneaker is made with 90% sustainable materials, including recycled polyester and bio-based materials for the upper, and recycled polyurethane for the outsole. The lv upcycling logo is used as a print on the upper, which is also signed with the lv initials in recycled polyurethane. This iconic model was designed by virgil abloh, who drew inspiration from vintage basketball sneakers.
